The Parliament of Ukraine extended the martial law in the country for another three months – until August 23, 2022.
Thus, in accordance with the law On Protection of Interests of Persons in the Sphere of Intellectual Property during Martial Law, until August 23 (if no further continuation of martial law will be) the terms related to the protection of intellectual property rights, as well as the terms of the procedures for acquiring these rights are suspended.
The Law allows authorized persons to submit documents (applications, petitions, objections, answers, etc.) within 90 days from the date of abolition of martial law, without paying an official fee for extension or renewal of the relevant terms.
