The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Federal Tax Service (FTS), and the “CRPT Operator” have entered into an agreement on cooperation in the traceability of the turnover of digital marked goods.

The current government decree on the use of information from the digital marking system provides that it will be integrated with all information systems of control and supervisory authorities.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade concluded similar agreements with the Rosselkhoznadzor, the Ministry of Agriculture, Rospotrebnadzor, Rospatent, the Antimonopoly and Customs Services, etc.

As part of the information exchange in the system for monitoring the turnover of marked goods, CRPT will transmit information to the tax service to control the correctness of tax accrual, compliance with cash registers, revenue accounting, and also to carry out control measures.

At the same time, the exchange of information constituting tax secrets within the framework of the agreement will not take place.

After connecting to the data system with the digital marking of the Federal Tax Service, which will concentrate on controlling the chains of dubious supplies, the perimeter of digital control of goods turnover is closed – this should reduce the share of counterfeit, falsified, and grey imports in the commodity markets in the near future.

Russia has already introduced the mandatory digital marking of tobacco, medicines, footwear, perfumery, photographic goods, and car tires. Gradually, digital marking should be extended to all products.
