The Prime Minister of Russia signed a decree to extend the experiment on the traceability of goods imported into Russia until June 30, 2020.
The experiment lasts from July 1, 2019. The system should allow controlling the circulation of goods in the common customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union at all stages of their commercial use: from import to retail sales.
Prior to the comprehensive introduction of a system to counteract the illegal import and circulation of goods into operation, it is tested in order to find and eliminate possible problems in its operation.
The experiment covers 10 product groups, including refrigerators, industrial vehicles, washing machines, monitors, metal furniture, prams, and projectors. Businesses can participate in testing the system on a voluntary basis – today 24 companies have become participants in the experiment.
