According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, in July 2020, there was a sharp increase in retail trade – the volume increased by 12.1% compared to June.
Compared to July 2019, the volume increased by 8.5%.
In January-July, retail sales volume increased by 4.2% compared to the same period in 2019.
2020 started with high growth rates in retail trade – in January-February, growth reached 13.5%. However, after the introduction of quarantine restrictions in March, the pace slowed down significantly.
At the end of 2019, the retail trade turnover grew by 10.5%.
