From September 30 to October 1, the Marketplace Austria 2019 exhibition and conference took place at the office of the Federal Economic Chamber of Austria (Wirtschaftskammer Österreich) in Vienna, at which Austrian food manufacturers presented their products to potential buyers from around the world. The interests of a number of Ukrainian retail chains and distributors at the event were represented by Crane IP Law Firm.

In total, 280 people from 43 countries took part in international cooperation forum Marketplace Austria.

Austria was represented by producers of wines, beer, mineral waters, cheeses, chocolates, and other food products.

Elena Polosmak, Managing partner and Ivan Nikitchenko, CEO of Crane IP, held more than 30 meetings with representatives of Austrian business who are interested in the Ukrainian market.

“Registration and protection of intellectual property rights objects is only the first step into entering a new market. The following is the conclusion of contracts with a distributor or retail chain, logistics, customs procedures, labeling, licensing, etc. We do not abandon our clients at the first stage, but provide legal and organizational support throughout the chain of all matters of foreign business in Ukraine. The growing consumer market of Ukraine is an interesting target for Austrian manufacturers. I am sure that soon our customers will be able to access the products of a number of Austrian companies, and economic relations between our countries will become stronger”, Elena Polosmak said, Managing partner of Crane IP Law Firm.
