The District Court of Kyiv issued an explanation that due to the entry into force of the law amending certain legislative acts aimed at providing additional social and economic guarantees due to the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-2019), court decisions will not enter into force until the end of quarantine, and writ of execution for such decisions will not be issued.

According to the law, the procedural terms according to the Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine, the Economic and Civil Procedural Codes will automatically continue for the period of quarantine, and the period established by the court in its decision cannot be less than the quarantine period for preventing the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Thus, court decisions whose appeal period did not expire before April 2, 2020, will not enter into force until the end of quarantine, and writ of execution on such decisions will not be issued.
