The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus by a resolution supplemented the list of objects of mandatory conformity assessment of the National System of Conformity Assessment.
From April 1, 2022, a requirement for mandatory certification is established for non-tobacco nicotine-containing products and nicotine-containing liquids for electronic smoking systems, electronic smoking systems with liquids for them, structurally included in such systems.
This requirement does not apply to the specified products manufactured in the country or imported into its territory before April 1, 2022.
Currently, work is underway to accredit certification bodies and testing laboratories for assessing the conformity of non-tobacco nicotine-containing products.
