Azerbaijan continued to implement measures by the Intellectual Property Agency in the field of ensuring transparency and accessibility.
After the information on patents on invention and utility models became publicly available via the Register of Industrial Property Objects (“Open Register”), with the latest update, information on industrial designs, trademarks, and geographical indications has been included in the “Open Register”.
It is now possible to search for information on the registration of all industrial property objects listed in the Register of Industrial Property Objects. Currently, the information on registered objects is available only. The information on the applications remains closed.
The “Open Register” is accessible via the website of the Intellectual Property Agency (COPAT).
