Since January 1, 2019, amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine entered into force, according to which the Antimonopoly Committee can no longer consider cases concerning intellectual property rights and/or activities related to their use, as well as legal relations arising in any process of using intellectual property rights objects.
The relevant norms were specified in the laws “On the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine” and “On the Protection of Economic Competition”, however, they were canceled by deputies when voting a package of bills to the budget for 2019.
