With the exit of many companies, Russia has decided to abandon the national principle of exhaustion of rights and allow the import of products into its territory without the permission of the right holders.
Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade has prepared a list of goods for which parallel imports will be allowed.
A significant place in the list is occupied by car brands and materials, as well as related products related to them: Tesla, Land Rover, Jeep, Jaguar, Chrysler, Bently, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Hummer, Rover, GMC, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack.
The list includes engines and parts for the Volvo, Hyundai, Nissan, Volkswagen, etc., tires Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, and Bridgestone.
Parallel imports are also allowed for smartphones and appliances under the brands Apple, Asus, HP, Panasonic, Samsung, Nokia, Sony, Intel, etc., home appliances Electrolux, Miele, Siemens, Dyson, and others, X-Box, Play Station, Nintendo.
The list also includes equipment for various industries (mining, electricity, rail and shipping, agriculture, forestry, and others).
