Since January 1, 2019, new preferential tariff for the payment of patent fees for legal entities from the member states of the Eurasian Patent Convention is being introduced.
Since the beginning of 2019, state scientific and educational organizations from the member states have paid duties in the amount of 30%, and other legal entities pay 90% of the regular fees.
For individuals, the size of the preferential tariff remained unchanged and amounts to 10% of the fees.
The member states of the Eurasian Patent Convention (EAPC) are 9 countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
