As of 1 February 2026, the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) has introduced new amounts of fees for legally significant and other actions carried out in respect of applications for the grant of Eurasian patents for inventions and industrial designs, as well as Eurasian patents for inventions and industrial designs.
In particular, the single procedural fee for filing a Eurasian application is increased by 17%, from RUB 60,000 to RUB 70,000 (approximately USD 910). The fee for substantive examination of an application has been increased to the same amount.
The fee for the grant of a Eurasian patent has increased by 13%, from RUB 40,000 to RUB 45,000 (approximately USD 585).
Fees relating to industrial designs are increased more significantly, by 33% for filing an application for one industrial design, from RUB 30,000 to RUB 40,000 (approximately USD 520).
The fee for registration of an industrial design, publication of information on the grant of a Eurasian patent, and grant of a Eurasian patent is also increased by one third, from RUB 30,000 to RUB 40,000.
At the same time, the conditions under which reduced fees apply (the availability of an international search report, as well as discounts for natural persons from a specified list of countries) remain unchanged.
