The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine extended martial law in the country for another three months – until November 21, 2022.

Thus, in accordance with the law “On the protection of the interests of persons in the field of intellectual property during the period of martial law”, all terms related to the protection of intellectual property rights, as well as the terms of procedures for acquiring these rights, are suspended for an additional three months (if there will be no further extension of the legal regime of martial law).

The law allows authorized persons to submit documents (applications, motions, objections, responses, etc.) within 90 days from the date of lifting martial law, without paying a fee for extending or renewing the relevant terms.

Martial law was introduced in Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
