All the list of official fees regarding Eurasian patents for inventions changes starting from July 1, 2022.
The fees are increased by 25-39% depending on the action with a patent application.
The official fee for filing grows from 28 thousand to 36 thousand Russian rubles, and in case an international search report is provided – from 21 to 24 thousand rubles.
The substantive examination of application with one independent claim costs 40 thousand rubles instead of 30 thousand before.
The most significant rise in the official fee for the registration of a patent – by 49%, to 25 thousand rubles.
Also, from July 1, 2022, the EAPO will start operations as an International Searching Authority (ISA) and an International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA) under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).
