Henkel decided to comply with the requirements of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia and changed the information on the packaging of Persil washing capsules and Persil washing powder – they received information that the products were adapted to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) quality and safety requirements.
In 2019, FAS, together with the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor), carried out examinations of washing powders, capsules for washing, and chocolate from manufacturers P&G, Henkel and Lindt. Despite the fact that manufacturers positioned their products on the Russian market as goods of European quality and focused on the countries of origin of brands, the composition of products for sale in the EU and in Russia was different.
FAS issued warning to manufacturers to stop misleading consumers.
Note that the Lindt representative office in Russia did not fulfill the requirements of the FAS, as well as P&G.
